Multi Content Panel

The ‘2 Column Twitter & Facebook’ panel displays a two-column layout containing two live social media feed embeds with an optional panel title. The column on the left of the panel displays an embed from Twitter and the column on the right displays an embed from Facebook. Each embed is powered by a separate Embed element and these have been added inside a two-column Layout element.

To update the title of the ‘2 Column Twitter & Facebook’ panel:

1. Go to the ’Pages’ panel and select the homepage.
2. Turn on the ‘Compose’ toggle in the bar at the bottom of the page interface.
3. Refresh the page in your web browser.
4. Scroll to the ‘2 Column Twitter & Facebook’ panel.
5. Hover over the Layout element displaying the panel title and click on the ‘gear’ icon in the top-right corner.
6. Click into the ‘Title’ field in the ‘Edit Layout Element Settings’ window.
7. Update the title text or click on the blue toggle to the right of the ‘Title’ field to hide the element title.
8. Click on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the ‘Edit Layout Element Settings’ window.

To update the title of the social media embeds in the ‘2 Column Twitter & Facebook’ panel:

1. Go to the ’Pages’ panel and select the homepage.
2. Turn on the ‘Compose’ toggle in the bar at the bottom of the page interface.
3. Refresh the page in your web browser.
4. Scroll to the ‘2 Column Twitter & Facebook’ panel.
5. Hover over the Embed element displaying the panel title you want to update and click on the ‘gear’ icon in the top-right corner.
6. Click into the ‘Title’ field in the ‘Edit Embed Element Settings’ window.
7. Update the title text or click on the blue toggle to the right of the ‘Title’ field to hide the element title.
8. Click on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the ‘Edit Embed Element Settings’ window.

To update the existing Twitter feed embed, begin by setting up a new Twitter embed:

1. Go to https://publish.twitter.com/
2. Enter your Twitter URL into the ‘What would you like to embed?’ field.
3. Scroll down and select the ‘Embedded Timeline’ display option
4. Wait for the page to update and click on the ‘Set Customization options’
5. Set both the ‘Height (px)’ and ‘Width (px)’ fields to ‘600’.
6. Optionally update the other available customization options and click ‘Update’.
7. Twitter will generate an embed code based on your preferences. Click on the ‘Copy Code’ button to the right of this code.

Now add the new Twitter embed to the ‘2 Column Twitter & Facebook’ panel.

1. Return to Composer and select the homepage in the ’Pages’ panel.
2. Turn on the ‘Compose’ toggle in the bar at the bottom of the page interface.
3. Refresh the page in your web browser.
4. Scroll to the ‘2 Column Twitter & Facebook’ panel.
5. Hover over the Embed element displaying the Twitter embed and click on the ‘gear’ icon in the top-right corner.
6. Delete the existing content within the ‘Code’ HTML editor in the ‘Edit Embed Element Settings’ window.
7. Paste in the new embed code you previously copied from https://publish.twitter.com/.
8. Click on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the ‘Edit Embed Element Settings’ window.

To update the existing Facebook feed embed, begin by setting up a new Facebook embed:

1. Go to https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin/
2. Enter your Facebook Page URL into the ‘Facebook Page URL’ field.
3. Set both the ‘width’ and ‘height’ field values to ‘600’.
4. Optionally update the other available customization options and click ‘Get Code’.
5. Facebook will generate an embed code based on your preferences. Click on the ‘IFrame’ tab’ at the top of the code window and copy the iframe code provided.

Now add the new Facebook embed to the ‘2 Column Twitter & Facebook’ panel.

7. Paste in the new embed code you previously copied from https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin/.
8. Click on the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the ‘Edit Embed Element Settings’ window.
